The Instructions & UX tab controls how your agent looks and feels for end users — its logo, the guidance text shown when users open it, and the example prompts they can tap to get started quickly. Upload a custom logo to brand your agent. The logo appears next to the agent’s name in the sidebar and at the top of the chat.

If no logo is uploaded, Interact shows a default placeholder. Using a logo that matches the data domain (e.g. a Google Ads icon for a paid search agent) makes it easier for users to find the right agent at a glance.

Instructions

The instructions field is shown to users on the agent’s start page — before they’ve typed their first message. Use it to guide users on what this agent does and how to get the best results. Good instructions answer:
  • What data does this agent have access to?
  • What types of questions can it answer?
  • Are there any date ranges, markets, or filters users should specify?
  • How should they phrase questions to get the clearest output?
Example:
This agent analyses Google Ads and Meta Ads performance for the NL and BE markets. Ask questions about campaign ROAS, spend, conversions, and trends. For best results, include the time period in your question (e.g. “last 7 days” or “June 2025”) and specify which market or campaign if you have a preference.
Keep instructions brief — two to four sentences. Users read them once, then start asking questions. Long instructions get skipped.

Example prompts

Example prompts appear as clickable suggestions on the agent’s start page. They give users an instant starting point and show what kinds of questions the agent handles well. Click Add example prompt to add a suggestion. Each prompt appears as a button the user can click to send that exact question. Good example prompts are:
  • Specific enough to be useful, but generic enough to work with any live data
  • Representative of what users most commonly want to know
  • Written in natural language, as a user would actually phrase them
Examples:
  • “Which campaigns had the highest ROAS last week?”
  • “Show me spend by market for the last 30 days.”
  • “Are there any campaigns where CPA is above target? Summarise by campaign and market.”
Aim for three to five prompts. Too few and the page looks empty; too many and users don’t know where to start.
