Linking boards to Productive is done by your Turntwo team as part of setting up a project — Productive is Turntwo’s internal tool, so this isn’t something you need to configure yourself. This page is here so you know what’s involved and what to ask your Turntwo contact for.

Before you start

Teamwork boards are backed by Productive, so you’ll need:
  • Teamwork enabled as a module for the organisation
  • The organisation’s Productive company ID set, so Interact knows which Productive company to look up projects in
  • A Productive project (and task list within it) to link

Step 1: Enable the Teamwork module

1

Go to Organization settings

Go to Settings → Organization and open the Modules tab.
2

Enable Teamwork

Check Teamwork. This makes the Teamwork section appear in the sidebar and unlocks the Settings → Boards page for superadmins.
Modules are organisation-wide switches — the same tab also controls whether Agents, Insights, Monitor, Reports, and Notifications are visible for this organisation.

Step 2: Set the Productive company ID

Still on the Organization settings page, open the Admin tab and set the Productive company ID. This tells Interact which company’s projects to list when linking a board — without it, the boards settings page will show a “Productive company ID required” notice instead of a project picker.
1

Open Boards settings

Go to Settings → Boards. This page (and board linking generally) is restricted to organisation superadmins.
2

Add a board

Click Add board, then choose the Productive project and the task list within it you want to expose. A task list can only be linked to one board at a time.
3

Set a display name (optional)

If left blank, the board uses the Productive task list’s own name.
4

Choose a default view

Pick Board (Kanban) or List as the view you land on when you open this board. You can still switch views afterwards.
5

Save

The board now appears in the Teamwork sidebar for anyone with access.

Board settings

Reopen a board’s settings at any time via the gear icon on the board (superadmins only):
The start/end date on a board can also be set or edited by organisation admins directly from the board itself (via the date label next to the title) — they don’t need full access to the board settings page to do this.
User groups are managed in Settings → User groups — the same groups used to restrict access to agents and reports.
